The third edition of the Remarkable Emirati Women (REW) event illuminated Abu Dhabi, bringing together over 700 leaders, professionals, and change-makers, all focused on progress, impact, and community. Under the esteemed patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Mother of the Nation, the summit exemplified the growing influence of Emirati women on local, regional, and global stages.
This year's theme, Unleash Your Impact, emphasized the pivotal role of Emirati women in shaping the UAE's future through leadership, resilience, and community engagement. The event featured Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan as the Guest of Honour, who honored the graduation of 62 women from the Emirati Women Chapter program—a joint initiative by the General Women’s Union and PureHealth aimed at nurturing leadership skills and mentorship for Emirati women.
The summit opened with inspiring messages of encouragement, showcasing the UAE’s supportive stance on women's advancement. It celebrated Emirati women not just for their career accomplishments but for their essential roles in fostering strong families and communities, underpinning their vital contributions to national development.
A major focus was on achieving meaningful impact without unrealistic standards. Discussions highlighted leadership, mental wellbeing, and sustainability, addressing the challenges women face in balancing ambition with personal health. Participants resonated with the notion that progress stems from consistency and support rather than unattainable perfection.
The event also honored the legacy of pioneering Emirati women who transformed obstacles into opportunities, laying the groundwork for today's advancements. This sense of continuity seamlessly connected the past with the aspirations of a new generation eager to lead purposefully.
Facilitated by the General Women’s Union and the Supreme Council for Motherhood & Childhood, in partnership with PureHealth, the event served as a vital national dialogue platform. Key figures across government, healthcare, education, and business participated in discussions focusing on leadership, wellbeing, and community engagement.
The summit also announced the opening of applications for the third cohort of the Emirati Women Chapter program, welcoming 100 new participants. This initiative marks the ongoing expansion of a critical platform supporting Emirati women as leaders and innovators.
As the summit wrapped up, the atmosphere was filled with confidence and enthusiasm. The 2025 edition of the Remarkable Emirati Women event underscored a unified message: Emirati women are not only instrumental in today's successes but also in steering the UAE's future through lasting impact and collaborative strength.
