On May 4, 2026, the Thai government will hold a significant reception at Government House in Bangkok to honor the Coronation Day of His Majesty the King. This esteemed event is expected to draw high-level officials and notable guests.
Rachada Thanadirek confirmed that royal approval has been granted for the ceremony, scheduled to commence at 7:00 PM in the Santi Maitri Building, marking a pivotal moment in the nation’s calendar.
The reception will be chaired by Anutin Charnvirakul, who will oversee the festivities as the government representative, underlining the occasion’s importance in celebrating both the monarchy and national unity.
Invitations have been extended to a diverse group of attendees, including senior government officials, members of constitutional provisions, former prime ministers, cabinet ministers, as well as delegates from international organizations and diplomatic entities.
Additionally, leaders from the business sector such as those from the Thai Chamber of Commerce, the Federation of Thai Industries, and the Thai Bankers Association are also anticipated to be present, highlighting the significance of the event on both national and international fronts.
To ensure public accessibility, the event will be broadcast live across national television and radio stations, enabling citizens to partake in the celebration.
