Abu Dhabi Prioritizes Support for Victims of Iranian Aggression

Abu Dhabi: Major General Ahmed Saif bin Zaitoon Al Muhairi, Commander-in-Chief of Abu Dhabi Police, reiterated the emirate's unwavering dedication to offering ongoing support and monitoring for those impacted by the recent Iranian aggression.

During his official visit to Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City (SSMC), Al Muhairi evaluated the current medical response and the effectiveness of treatment protocols for the injured. He was joined by key officials, including Matar Saeed Al Nuaimi, Director General of the Emergencies, Crises and Disasters Management Centre Abu Dhabi, Dr. Rashed Obaid Al Suwaidi from the Abu Dhabi Public Health Centre, and Dr. Marwan Al Kaabi, CEO of SSMC.

The officials met with injured individuals and their families, gathering feedback on the healthcare services provided. Officials reiterated that safeguarding community health remains paramount in Abu Dhabi’s crisis management framework, irrespective of regional circumstances.

Al Muhairi emphasized the necessity of leveraging all available medical and logistical resources to expedite recovery efforts. He lauded the resilience and high spirits of the injured, wishing them a quick return to health.

He also remarked that the effectiveness of the medical response showcases Abu Dhabi's sophisticated healthcare infrastructure and forward-thinking planning. Leadership expressed confidence in the comprehensive rehabilitation initiatives at SSMC, aimed at fostering complete recovery.

The delegation praised the commitment and professionalism of the medical and administrative personnel, highlighting their crucial role in enhancing the emirate's emergency response framework.

As the visit concluded, officials underlined the significance of robust inter-sectoral coordination to ensure a swift and adaptable response. The ADCMC remains focused on closely tracking recovery progress and providing continued support and quality of life for all affected parties until full recovery is reached.
