Actress and model Shefali Jariwala passed away late on Friday night at the age of 42 due to a cardiac arrest. The news of her sudden death shocked her fans and loved ones. Shatrughan, the security guard at her residential society, shared details of the tragic night in a conversation with NDTV. He recalled that around 9 PM, Shefali’s husband, Parag Tyagi, arrived at the society on a motorcycle, and Shatrughan was the one who opened the gate for him. Just an hour later, around 10:30 PM, Shefali was rushed to the hospital.
Shatrughan further mentioned that, only two days before the incident, he had seen the couple in the society compound with their dog, looking perfectly fine. After Shefali was taken to the hospital, police teams and forensic units arrived at the scene. Shatrughan added that there were two forensic unit vehicles present, one of which had left, while the other remained. The security guard also described the moment they learned of Shefali's death. A man, seemingly a friend, arrived on a motorcycle and informed them that Shefali had passed away. It left everyone in shock, as just days ago, she had been seen healthy and active.
Shefali Jariwala was taken to Bellevue Multispecialty Hospital by her husband, where she was declared dead on arrival. Her body was later sent to Cooper Hospital for a post-mortem examination. The tragic incident has left a void in the entertainment world, as Shefali was widely loved by her fans.
In light of her loss, an old interview with Shefali surfaced, in which she addressed her long fight with epilepsy. Shefali revealed that she was diagnosed with epilepsy at the age of fifteen. She recalls having a seizure while under pressure to do well in her schoolwork. She stated that stress and anxiety could lead to seizures, which had been a problem for her all her life.
The actress opened up about how her condition impacted her confidence and everyday life. She mentioned that she had experienced seizures in various situations, including in classrooms, backstage, and on the road. These incidents lowered her self-esteem and made it harder for her to lead a normal life. Despite these challenges, Shefali continued to build her career in the entertainment industry, earning admiration for her resilience.
Shefali's death has had a profound impact on her followers, as she was spotted just days before her death, looking healthy and joyful. The unexpected death of the actress, noted for her grace and strength, has surprised many, and she will be sorely mourned by everyone who knew her.
