The ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi, a leading venue under the ADNEC Group, has proudly secured five distinguished awards at the Eventex 2026 Awards, which is recognized as one of the top accolades in the events, exhibitions, conferences, and experiential marketing sector.

This accomplishment underscores Abu Dhabi's esteemed position as a pivotal global hub for major exhibitions and conferences.

Five Significant Global Awards

During the Eventex 2026 ceremony, ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi received accolades in the following categories:

  • World's Best Sustainable Venue

  • World's Best Convention Centre

  • World's Best Exhibition Venue

  • World's Best Sports Venue

  • World's Best Wedding Venue

These awards highlight the centre's dedicated excellence in managing a variety of events while upholding outstanding standards in sustainability, operational practices, and customer satisfaction.

The accolade for the “World's Best Sustainable Venue” showcased ADNEC Centre’s unwavering commitment to sustainability, emphasizing its use of renewable energy sources.

Intense Global Competition

This year's Eventex Awards witnessed record participation, with 1,405 entries from 58 countries across the globe.

The expert judging panel comprised 251 industry professionals from 43 nations. It included leaders from prominent organizations such as FIFA, Coca-Cola, Samsung, Salesforce, Siemens, and the Financial Times.

Awards were presented across multiple categories encompassing exhibitions, conferences, tourism, event production, marketing, innovation, visitor experience, and sustainability.

Judges assessed submissions based on several factors including creativity, innovation, execution quality, operational efficiency, audience engagement, and tangible results.

CEO of ADNEC Group Reflects on Abu Dhabi's Global Standing

Humaid Matar Al Dhaheri, CEO of ADNEC Group, noted that this achievement highlights Abu Dhabi's emerging role as a critical player in the international scene for business events and exhibitions.

He praised the trust that partners and clients place in ADNEC Centre, attributing it to its exceptional infrastructure and state-of-the-art facilities.

Khalifa Al Qubaisi, Chief Commercial Officer at ADNEC Centre, remarked that these awards reflect the centre's outstanding global reputation and its leadership within the events sector.

He added that the success mirrors the centre's strategic vision, skilled management teams, and advanced event handling and operational standards.
