Abu Dhabi Set to Host 4th Al Thuraya Exhibition in January 2026

Post by : Bianca Haleem

In a significant cultural initiative, Abu Dhabi will welcome the fourth edition of the Al Thuraya Exhibition and Platform from 25 to 29 January 2026 at the Marina Hall, ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi, under the distinguished patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Dr Shamma bint Mohammed bin Khalid Al Nahyan.

Her Highness, who is also the Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of the Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalid Al Nahyan Cultural and Educational Institutions and the Al Thuraya Platform, leads this effort.

Supported by the Abu Dhabi Convention and Exhibition Bureau, part of the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi, alongside ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi and the National Art Expressions Program of the Department of Education and Knowledge, the event aims to fuel the growth of creative industries.

The Al Thuraya Exhibition and Platform is a vital cultural project fostering the creative economy while emphasizing women's contributions in entrepreneurship. It provides an enthusiastic environment for artists, thinkers, and entrepreneurs, specifically enhancing opportunities for Emirati women to showcase their projects, forge professional networks, and explore investment avenues.

Building upon the successes of prior editions, the upcoming edition will present a broad spectrum of activities including art exhibitions, cultural evenings, panel discussions, and practical workshops. These events will particularly illuminate the experiences of women-led businesses and discuss avenues for sustainable advancement.

The platform is crucial for empowering Emirati women entrepreneurs, enabling them to present their creative ventures to wider audiences and expand their professional circles, aligning with Abu Dhabi’s cultural and tourism aspirations.

Feedback from previous participants indicates that the Al Thuraya Platform catalyzed tangible and sustainable growth for their projects, establishing collaborations with both local and global entities in the cultural and economic arenas.

Moreover, this exhibition enriches Abu Dhabi's cultural and tourism narrative, enhances cultural tourism, and solidifies the emirate’s stature as a pivotal center for creativity and culture on regional and international levels.

With extensive media backing, the platform continues to project its message of creativity, empowerment, and national identity. Everyone interested in culture and entrepreneurship is encouraged to visit and participate in the exhibition activities.
