The General Secretariat of the Arab Interior Ministers Council has strongly condemned what it described as repeated and hostile actions by Iran against several Arab countries.
In an official statement released today, the council accused Iran of carrying out deliberate attacks targeting civilian areas, as well as key energy and gas facilities in countries including the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, and Oman.
The Secretariat said these actions are a clear violation of international laws, agreements, and the principles of good neighborly relations. It warned that such aggression represents a serious escalation that could threaten both regional stability and global economic interests, especially due to the importance of energy infrastructure in these countries.
The statement further described the attacks as ongoing and systematic acts of sabotage. It emphasized the council’s full support and solidarity with all affected Arab nations. The Secretariat affirmed that these countries have the right to take all necessary measures to defend their sovereignty, protect their territories, and ensure the safety of their people.
The council also praised the efforts of Arab armed forces, security agencies, and civil defense teams. It highlighted their role in responding to these threats and maintaining the safety and stability of their nations, as well as protecting vital facilities and residents.
The Arab Interior Ministers Council concluded by reaffirming its commitment to supporting regional security and standing united against any threats to peace and stability in the Arab world.
