Manama, February 16, 2026 — The Meteorological Directorate has forecast generally fine weather across the Kingdom today, with rising sand expected in some areas and cooler conditions developing overnight.
Northwesterly winds will blow at speeds ranging from 18 to 23 knots, occasionally reaching between 25 and 30 knots during the day. Wind speeds are expected to decrease overnight to around 10 to 15 knots.
Authorities have issued a warning for very strong winds, advising residents, motorists, and marine activities to exercise caution, particularly in open areas and coastal regions.
Sea conditions are expected to range between 2 to 3 feet inshore, while offshore waves may rise between 4 to 7 feet, which could affect small craft movement.
Temperatures will remain moderate, with a maximum of 25 degrees Celsius during the day and a minimum of 17 degrees Celsius at night. Humidity levels are forecast to range between 30 percent and 75 percent.
