On the evening of April 8, 2026, Jetseth Thaiseth visited the scene of a fire incident at a foam factory located on Bangna-Trat Road, KM 13, in Samut Prakan. His visit aimed to commend the dedicated firefighters and volunteers for their rapid response to the blaze.
The fire erupted around 7:20 PM within the warehouse of Wanli Packing Enterprise Co., Ltd. The facility, comprised of two interconnected single-story structures, saw flames spread swiftly due to the highly combustible foam materials stored onsite.
Firefighters from the Bang Chalong Subdistrict Municipality, along with volunteer rescue teams, acted quickly to contain the fire, beginning water application immediately. By approximately 9:00 PM, the blaze was under control, with no reported injuries or fatalities.
Officials have announced that forensic investigations will be conducted to discover the fire's origin. Authorities stressed the significance of effective response and teamwork in mitigating potential damage.
