On Friday evening, a vehicle crashed into the entrance of Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport, colliding with a ticket counter and resulting in injuries to six individuals, confirmed airport officials.

The Wayne County Airport Authority reported that the driver was apprehended following the incident. The specific cause of the crash remains unclear, and an investigation by airport police is underway.

Emergency personnel from the WCAA Fire Department treated the six injured parties at the scene, though their condition has not been disclosed.
