Under the esteemed patronage of Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, the graduation ceremony for the 24th batch of officer cadets took place at the Sharjah Police Academy, attended by Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi.

The event, hosted at the academy’s University City headquarters, also acknowledged university graduates who completed the necessary program for attaining the rank of lieutenant. The Deputy Ruler was welcomed by prominent officials including Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi and Sheikh Dr. Salem bin Abdulrahman Al Qasimi, in the presence of police leaders and educational figures.

The ceremony initiated with the UAE national anthem and a reading from the Holy Quran. Brigadier Dr. Mohammed Khamis Al-Othmani, the Academy’s Director, in his speech, affirmed that the graduation symbolizes the UAE’s unwavering dedication to security, stability, and knowledge advancement.

He underlined that the nation’s success in safety and growth is rooted in the vision of Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, expressing gratitude for Sharjah’s leadership support in enhancing police education and training.

The Academy is consistently upgrading by incorporating cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence and virtual training systems, preparing future officers with both theoretical and practical knowledge necessary for contemporary security challenges.

Members in attendance witnessed a presentation that highlighted the Academy's essential role in cultivating qualified security personnel, followed by a disciplined military parade that illustrated the cadets’ training and preparedness.

The Deputy Ruler rewarded the top graduates with the esteemed Sword of Honour and acknowledged the Parade Commander. The ceremony also featured a ceremonial flag passing from the 24th to the 25th batch, symbolizing continuity and accountability.

The graduates took their official oath, heralding the start of their service to the nation. The event concluded with a group photo and certificate distribution led by Major General Abdullah Mubarak bin Amer, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police.

This graduating class comprised 44 officer cadets who completed an intensive four-year curriculum, combining police sciences, legal studies, and practical field training. Additionally, 12 graduates successfully finished a specialized program aimed at qualifying them for the rank of lieutenant, emphasizing legal knowledge, policing abilities, and leadership development.

This significant event underscores the UAE’s commitment to cultivating a skilled and future-ready security force.
