In its ongoing commitment to enhancing social services, Shamis Ali Khalfan Al Dhaheri, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Department of Community Development, toured the Family Care Authority service center.
The visit was designed to evaluate service delivery and its effectiveness in fostering family stability while elevating the quality of life within the emirate.
Key officials, including Hamad Ali Al Dhaheri and Salama Al Ameemi, accompanied him during the visit.
Focus on Accessible and Responsive Services
During his visit, the Chairman was briefed on an extensive range of family-oriented services. A key focus was on the customer experience, ensuring that services are accessible, efficient, and responsive to community needs.
He also reviewed the Authority's cutting-edge case management system, which tailors support solutions based on individual family assessments. This guarantees that each family receives appropriate aid to maintain stability and wellbeing.

Reiterating the UAE leadership’s people-centric philosophy, Al Dhaheri asserted that robust families form the backbone of a stable society.
He stressed that Abu Dhabi is relentlessly investing in social services that not only elevate living standards but also empower individuals and families to take part in national development.

The Department of Community Development is enhancing service provision by boosting coordination among various agencies. There is a renewed emphasis on preventive actions and early intervention in tandem with ongoing case management.
These initiatives aim to offer timely guidance, counselling, and support, ultimately fortifying community ties throughout the emirate.

The Family Care Authority serves as the primary resource for social matters in Abu Dhabi. It provides a range of comprehensive family care services, offering 24/7 counselling and assistance via its dedicated hotline (800 444), ensuring aid is available as needed.
