Digital Caravan Arrives in Al-Hajra, Boosts Public Services

Post by : Bianca Haleem

Al-Hajra Governorate proudly welcomes the second edition of the Digital Development Caravan, following its successful launch in Al-Makhwah Governorate. This initiative is being implemented under the guidance of Prince Dr. Hussam bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, the Governor of Al-Baha Region.

The caravan aims to facilitate access to critical services for citizens, particularly targeting social security beneficiaries, senior citizens, and individuals with disabilities.

Currently stationed at Andalus Park in Al-Hajra, the caravan operates from April 6 to April 8, with daily hours from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The event showcases various government entities, private sector representatives, and nonprofit organizations working together.

Attendees can benefit from an array of services including employment programs, health and social support, civil affairs, passport services, and traffic management. Additionally, the initiative focuses on enhancing digital skills and awareness, aiding individuals in navigating online services more effectively.

To promote inclusivity, the caravan provides home-based services for those unable to attend in person, reinforcing its dedication to community support and outreach.

This effort showcases a commitment to improving service delivery and driving digital transformation in the region, ensuring that vital services are accessible to all communities.
