Saudi Arabia Provides Support for Hajj with 194,680 Guidance Books

Post by : Bianca Haleem

The Saudi Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance has initiated the distribution of 194,680 copies of religious texts and materials concerning Hajj regulations for pilgrims arriving in the Kingdom. This initiative was undertaken through the ministry’s Makkah Region branch in collaboration with the Taif Governorate's Department of Mosques, Dawah and Guidance.

From the 9th of Dhu Al-Qadah to the 6th of Dhu Al-Hijjah, the distribution campaign aimed to provide valuable Dawah and guidance services to support pilgrims during the Hajj season.

As per the ministry's report, 45,405 of these copies were handed out at Taif International Airport, while 149,275 were available at the Miqat sites of Qarn Al-Manazil and Wadi Muharram.

The provided materials included crucial details on Hajj rituals and regulations, helping pilgrims fulfill their religious responsibilities accurately upon their arrival.

To accommodate the diverse backgrounds of pilgrims, the ministry offered these books in multiple languages such as Arabic, Indonesian, Turkish, Urdu, Pashto, Russian, and English.

This initiative illustrates Saudi Arabia's ongoing commitment to enhancing services for pilgrims and fostering religious education during the annual Hajj pilgrimage.
