Two drones targeted the US Embassy in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia’s Defence Ministry confirmed on Tuesday.
According to the Saudi Press Agency, the drone attack caused a small fire inside the embassy compound. The fire was quickly brought under control by emergency teams.
The ministry stated that the incident resulted in minor damage to the building. No casualties have been reported so far.
Authorities are investigating the attack and assessing the situation. Further details are expected to be released as the investigation continues.
