Eid Al-Adha Greetings from Qatar Amir to Citizens and Muslims Worldwide

Post by : Bianca Haleem

Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani conveyed his warmest Eid Al-Adha wishes to the citizens of Qatar and Muslims globally, hoping for peace, abundance, and joy during this significant Islamic festival.

In a message shared via his official account on the social media platform X on Wednesday, HH the Amir extended his congratulations to the people of Qatar, residents, and the larger Islamic community on this auspicious occasion.

He expressed, “I extend my heartfelt congratulations to citizens, residents, and all the peoples of our Islamic nation on the blessed Eid Al-Adha. May it return to everyone with blessings, tranquility, and peace.”

Eid Al-Adha stands as one of the most pivotal celebrations in Islam, characterized by special prayers, familial reunions, and acts of charity. This festival also pays homage to the readiness of Prophet Ibrahim to sacrifice his son in obedience to God.

Throughout Qatar, individuals gathered in mosques and prayer areas to perform Eid prayers, celebrating the holy occasion among families and friends. Muslims around the globe are also partaking in this festival with various religious and social festivities.
