Emaar Properties PJSC reported solid financial results for the first half of 2026, recording growth across its major business segments. The company posted revenue of AED23.9 billion (US$6.5 billion), an increase of 21 percent compared to the same period last year.
Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) rose 24 percent to AED12.9 billion (US$3.5 billion), while net profit before tax increased 23 percent to AED12.8 billion (US$3.5 billion).
The company said its performance was supported by balanced contributions from its property development business, recurring income portfolio and international operations.
During the first six months of 2026, Emaar recorded property sales of approximately AED26.6 billion (US$7.2 billion).
As of 30 June 2026, revenue backlog from property sales reached approximately AED164.9 billion (US$44.9 billion), representing a 13 percent year-on-year increase. The backlog provides strong visibility for future revenue recognition.
Emaar also highlighted its extensive land bank, one of the largest and most diversified in the region. The company owns approximately 590 million square feet of mixed-use development opportunities, including around 316 million square feet located within the UAE.
Mohamed Alabbar, founder of Emaar, said the company's first-half performance reflects its disciplined approach and long-term vision. He also acknowledged the role of the UAE leadership in supporting economic growth. This confidence in leadership continues to attract capital and talent even amid a more uncertain global backdrop. This stability remains a fundamental enabler of Emaar's long-term growth."
Emaar Development PJSC also delivered strong results during the first half of 2026.
The company reported revenue of AED13.3 billion (US$3.6 billion), marking a 34 percent increase from the same period last year.
Net profit before tax reached AED7.8 billion (US$2.1 billion), up 41 percent year-on-year.
Revenue generated from property development operations in the UAE totalled AED17.7 billion (US$4.8 billion), representing 30 percent annual growth.
As of 30 June 2026, the revenue backlog from projects under development in the UAE stood at AED135.7 billion (US$36.9 billion), up 6 percent compared with the first half of 2025, providing strong visibility for future revenue recognition.

The company also announced a new AED200 billion masterplan, further strengthening its long-term development pipeline and reflecting confidence in Dubai's continued growth.
Emaar's international development business maintained its contribution to the Group's diversified earnings, supported by operations across key markets, particularly Egypt and India.
Property sales from international operations reached AED4.2 billion (US$1.1 billion).
Revenue totalled AED1.1 billion (US$0.3 billion), representing an 8 percent year-on-year increase and contributing approximately 4.6 percent of the Group's total revenue during the first half of 2026.
Emaar's shopping malls, retail and commercial leasing portfolio continued its positive performance.
Revenue reached AED3.5 billion (US$1.0 billion), increasing 9 percent compared with the first half of 2025.
EBITDA rose 10 percent to AED3.1 billion (US$0.8 billion).
Average occupancy across the portfolio remained high at approximately 98 percent as of 30 June 2026.
Emaar's hospitality, leisure and entertainment portfolio generated AED1.6 billion (US$0.4 billion) in revenue during the first half of 2026.
The Group's hotels in the UAE recorded an average occupancy rate of 60 percent during the period.
The company said its diversified recurring revenue portfolio continued to strengthen earnings resilience and cash flow generation.
Supported by shopping malls, hospitality, leisure, entertainment and commercial leasing assets, recurring revenue reached AED5.1 billion (US$1.4 billion), remaining in line with the first half of 2025.
Recurring revenue EBITDA also remained steady at AED4.0 billion (US$1.1 billion) compared with the same period last year.
