Emirates Launches New Travel Insurance with Conflict Cover and Free Trip Extension

Post by : Raina Al-Fahim

Dubai-based airline Emirates has launched a new travel insurance plan that includes conflict cover and extra travel protection for passengers. The airline says this new service is designed to give travellers more safety, support, and peace of mind during unexpected situations.

The new cover offers medical reimbursement of up to $25,000 for conflict-related incidents. It also includes hotel stays if airports are closed due to disruptions. In addition, passengers can get a free trip extension of up to 30 days if their travel is affected.

Emirates said the insurance plan also provides strong protection for other travel problems. This includes trip cancellation cover, compensation for delayed or lost baggage, and unlimited medical expenses in emergencies. It also includes worldwide emergency evacuation support when needed.

The airline added that passengers will also benefit from free rebooking options. If Emirates flights are not available during a disruption, travellers may be rebooked on other airlines without extra cost, depending on the situation.

This new protection is available for passengers flying to 27 destinations. These include countries such as the United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, Canada, Spain, France, Germany, Italy, Singapore, South Africa, and several others across Europe, Asia, and beyond.
