Zayed National Museum is excited to announce its April Learning and Public Engagement programme, inviting visitors to delve into the rich tapestry of the UAE’s history and culture through interactive tours and hands-on workshops.
This month's offerings feature fresh initiatives, including the much-anticipated return of Al Dhuha Hour on 13 April. Following its successful launch in December 2025, this monthly event caters specifically to senior citizens, including those living with dementia and their caregivers. The upcoming session will kick off with a creative botanical eco-printing workshop that utilizes traditional Emirati flowers and plants, merging art with cultural appreciation.
The museum is extending its outreach through the From Museum to Community initiative, part of the Multaqa Zayed National Museum platform. Beginning in April, this programme will include a series of talks and discussions throughout cultural institutions in the UAE, aiming to cultivate dialogue among communities, researchers, and heritage advocates.
Additionally, the museum will uphold its popular guided tours and interactive workshops. Visitors can participate in bilingual sessions like A Walk Through Our History—available in Emirati Sign Language—and A Walk Among Our Wings. Family-oriented workshops such as Oasis Weaving, Build Your Museum, Create Your Calming Necklace, Design Your Porcelain Fruit Bowl, and Tree of Values will offer creative and educational experiences suitable for all ages.
With its diverse array of programmes, the April schedule underscores the museum’s dedication to fostering accessible, inclusive, and engaging cultural learning for the community.
