Health department representatives have initiated specialized monitoring systems to detect passengers arriving from Ebola-affected nations. Medical personnel, along with airport and immigration officials, are now tasked with observing travelers for symptoms that include fever, extreme weakness, vomiting, or bleeding. No confirmed Ebola cases have been detected at CIAL, but enhanced surveillance is deemed essential to prevent potential health emergencies.
The emergency meeting brought together senior health officials, airport management, district authorities, and public health specialists.
