Hamad Medical Corporation has revealed its adjusted operating hours for various healthcare facilities throughout the Eid Al Adha celebrations in Qatar.
The organization confirmed that all emergency departments, ambulance operations, and pediatric emergency units will be functioning 24/7 to provide consistent emergency healthcare services to the public during the holiday.
HMC also mentioned that its unified contact center (16000) and customer service hotline (16060) will continue to operate nonstop throughout the Eid festivities.
As outlined in the announcement, outpatient clinics will close from May 26 until May 28, resuming normal services on May 31. Additionally, urgent consultation and home medication delivery services will be temporarily halted during the holiday and will restart on May 31.
The National Mental Health Helpline will be back in operation on May 30, as stated by HMC.
On a related note, the Qatar National Blood Donation Center will be active on May 26 and May 30 between 9:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m., while it will be closed from May 27 to May 29.
HMC urges patients and the general public to verify service times prior to visiting healthcare facilities during the Eid holiday.
