Wider West Bank Tensions

The reported shooting comes amid continuing Israeli military raids and clashes in the West Bank and East Jerusalem. Palestinian officials and media outlets have repeatedly reported raids, arrests and confrontations involving Israeli forces and settlers in Palestinian towns, cities and refugee camps.
