Houthi Attacks Injure 73 in Saudi Arabia

Saudi Arabia Reports Civilian Injuries After Latest Attacks

More than 70 people have reportedly been injured after Houthi forces launched attacks toward Saudi Arabia, according to Saudi military officials. The reported casualties include women and children, with a total of 73 civilian injuries recorded in several Saudi cities.The attacks reportedly targeted civilian and economic sites in the cities of Abha, Khamis Mushait, Jazan and Najran. Saudi authorities described the latest escalation as a serious threat to civilians, infrastructure and the Kingdom's security.

Saudi Military Calls Houthi Escalation Dangerous

Coalition spokesman Major General Turki Al-Maliki described the latest Houthi activity as a dangerous escalation. He accused the group of continuing what he called a hostile and irresponsible approach toward Saudi Arabia.According to Al-Maliki, the attacks were directed at national infrastructure and civilian facilities. He said such actions represent a violation of Saudi Arabia's sovereignty and pose a direct threat to the safety of citizens and residents.

73 Civilians Reportedly Injured

Saudi officials said the latest attacks resulted in 73 civilian injuries. The reported victims include women and children, highlighting the potential impact of the attacks on populated areas.The incidents occurred across several locations, including Abha, Khamis Mushait, Jazan and Najran. These cities are located in southern Saudi Arabia and have previously been affected by tensions linked to the conflict in Yemen.

Saudi Arabia Warns of Further Response

The Saudi-led coalition said its joint forces would take all necessary operational measures to deter further Houthi attacks. Officials said the response would focus on confronting the threat and protecting Saudi territory and its population.Al-Maliki also said measures would be taken against the sources of the threat and that Saudi forces would work to neutralize the danger posed by further attacks.
