On Tuesday, Israeli airstrikes across various regions in southern Lebanon led to the tragic loss of at least 31 lives and left 40 others injured, according to health officials in Lebanon.
The Lebanese Ministry of Public Health’s Public Health Emergency Operations Centre released an official statement detailing the casualties incurred during these attacks.
The most devastating assault occurred in Burj El Shemali, near Tyre, where 14 individuals were killed and 16 others suffered injuries.
In Kouthariyeh El Siyad, five people died, and six others were hurt, while a separate strike in Haboush resulted in four fatalities and 10 injuries.
Additionally, Israeli airstrikes targeted Maarakah, claiming the lives of six individuals and injuring another six. In Sel’aa, two people were reported dead, with two more sustaining injuries.
Emergency services and medical personnel were dispatched to the impacted areas to assist the injured and recover those who lost their lives due to the attacks.
These recent airstrikes come amidst escalating tensions and ongoing violence along the Lebanese border.
