Tragic Plane Crash in Jashpur, Chhattisgarh Claims Lives of Two Pilots

A tragic incident occurred on Monday when a chartered aircraft crashed into Ara Hill in Jashpur district, Chhattisgarh. Reports indicate that the aircraft struck the hillside prior to its crash, resulting in the untimely deaths of both the pilot and co-pilot.

Authorities are currently verifying whether there were any other passengers aboard the aircraft during the accident.

Immediate responses were initiated by senior police officials, including SSP Lal Ummed Singh, who arrived at the site soon after the incident. Rescue and recovery operations are currently in progress.

Visuals from the scene depict thick smoke and flames emanating from the aircraft wreckage, with footage circulating widely on social media.

An investigation has been launched by local authorities to ascertain the precise cause of the crash and to collect further information from the site.
