Jazeera Airways Restarts Karachi Flights via Dammam

Post by : Bianca Haleem

Kuwait-based Jazeera Airways has announced the resumption of its commercial flight operations to and from Karachi, Pakistan, starting April 7. The service will be routed through Saudi Arabia’s Dammam Airport, ensuring continued connectivity amid evolving travel conditions.

According to the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), the airline’s CEO, Barathan Pasupathi, stated that the decision reflects the company’s commitment to maintaining reliable travel services during exceptional circumstances.

The airline will operate two weekly flights on Tuesdays and Saturdays, offering passengers consistent travel options between Kuwait and Karachi.

Pasupathi emphasized that the reopening of this route will not only facilitate smooth passenger movement but also play a crucial role in supporting cargo operations, which remain vital for regional supply chains.

He further highlighted Jazeera Airways’ integrated operational model, which combines both air and ground transport through Dammam and Qaisumah airports. This approach enables the airline to sustain operations and expand connectivity despite ongoing challenges in the aviation sector.

The CEO also expressed gratitude to Kuwaiti and Saudi authorities for their continued support, reaffirming the airline’s commitment to ensuring uninterrupted passenger and cargo services across its network.
