KUWAIT CITY, Aug. 17: Kuwait’s Criminal Security Sector has arrested an Azerbaijani resident accused of practicing medicine without a license and operating an unauthorized medical clinic from her home in Jaber Al-Ahmad City, the Ministry of Interior said.

The woman allegedly received patients at her residence, provided medical consultations and examinations for money, and prepared and sold herbal mixtures without obtaining the necessary approvals or licenses from the relevant authorities.

Investigation Leads to Home Clinic Raid

The arrest was carried out by the General Department of Criminal Investigation, through the Department for Combating Counterfeiting and Forgery Crimes.

Authorities said they received information about the woman’s activities and launched an investigation. After confirming the information, investigators obtained the required legal authorization to search the residence.

The raid was conducted with the participation of female police officers, and the suspect was arrested while allegedly practicing medicine without a license.

Home Equipped as Medical Facility

During the search, investigators found that part of the residence had been extensively arranged to operate as a medical facility.

Another section of the home had reportedly been set aside for preparing and manufacturing herbal mixtures. Authorities also found equipment used to produce labels for the products.

Cash and Medical Equipment Seized
