Brazil delivered a strong performance to defeat Croatia 3-1 in an international friendly match held in Orlando on Tuesday, with late goals sealing a convincing win.
The Brazilian side dominated possession in the opening stages and capitalized on their control just before halftime. Matheus Cunha initiated the move by releasing Vinicius Jr, who showcased impressive skill by dribbling past multiple defenders before assisting Danilo, who calmly finished with a first-time strike.
Croatia responded with improved intensity in the second half, gaining more control of the game. Their persistence paid off in the 84th minute when Lovro Majer found space between defenders to connect with a precise cross from Toni Fruk, guiding the ball past goalkeeper Bento to level the score.
However, the equalizer only sparked Brazil into action. Just four minutes later, Brazil regained the lead after Endrick was fouled inside the penalty area. Igor Thiago stepped up and confidently converted the penalty to make it 2-1.
Gabriel Martinelli then put the result beyond doubt in stoppage time, finishing clinically with a low strike to secure Brazil’s 3-1 victory.
The win highlights Brazil’s attacking depth and resilience, while Croatia showed flashes of quality despite the defeat.
