The Malaysian Football League has announced that prices for tickets to the forthcoming Malaysia Cup final will not change, providing fans with a welcome relief amid soaring operational expenses. The highly anticipated match will see Johor Darul Ta'zim facing off against Kuching City FC at the National Stadium in Bukit Jalil on May 23.
MFL Chief Executive Officer Mohd Shazli Shaik Mohd stated the league is dedicated to making football accessible for fans by keeping ticket prices consistent. This decision aims to boost enthusiastic support for the match.
There will be four ticket categories available, beginning with general admission at RM50 and RM70. Premium seating will cost RM150, while VIP Grandstand tickets will be priced at RM200, ensuring options for everyone.
Despite the escalating costs involved with hosting large events, the league has opted to keep ticket prices steady. This strategy is expected to assist fans in planning their attendance without added financial strain.
Sales will be managed directly by the two competing clubs, following the effective system used in previous years. This structured method guarantees a fair ticket distribution among supporters.
Supporters should keep an eye on official announcements from both clubs for the latest information on ticket availability and purchasing processes. Early confirmation of prices is likely to enhance excitement as the final approaches.
The Malaysia Cup final is one of the nation's premier football events, and maintaining ticket prices underscores the league’s commitment to fan engagement and accessibility.
