The Secretariat of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has emphatically condemned the ongoing assaults targeting Kuwait, labeling them a severe infringement of the nation's sovereignty and security.
In a formal declaration, the OIC articulated that these attacks are in violation of international law and the United Nations Charter. The organization cautioned that such actions jeopardize civilian safety and pose considerable threats to regional stability.
The OIC General Secretariat underscored that any aggressions against Kuwait undermine collective efforts to uphold peace and security in the region. It urged respect for international legal frameworks that guard nations' sovereignty and territorial integrity.
Reaffirming its steadfast support for Kuwait, the OIC conveyed complete solidarity with the nation and endorsed all steps taken by Kuwaiti authorities to ensure national security, territorial integrity, and stability.
The organization further highlighted the necessity of protecting civilians and averting actions that could heighten tensions or instability in the area.
