After fulfilling its responsibilities in Saudi Arabia, the Omani Hajj mission has returned to Oman, providing vital services to Omani pilgrims during the Hajj season.
Upon their arrival at Muscat International Airport, the team was welcomed by Dr. Mohammed bin Said Al Maamari, Minister of Endowments and Religious Affairs, alongside high-ranking officials from the ministry.
The returning delegates were commended for their dedicated efforts in facilitating and guiding pilgrims throughout their spiritual experience in the sacred sites of Makkah and Madinah.
Led by Ahmed bin Saleh Al-Rashidi, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs, the mission included specialized teams focusing on areas such as religious guidance, administration, finance, healthcare, and communication.
To ensure a coordinated approach, the delegation also featured representatives from the Hajj Companies Supervision team, the State Financial and Administrative Control Authority, and the Royal Oman Police.
Throughout their time in Saudi Arabia, the mission offered ongoing support to Omani pilgrims, aiding them in their Hajj rituals with safety, ease, and appropriate religious advice.
The group departed Oman on May 13 and was active in Makkah, Madinah, and other holy sites, ensuring that pilgrims received organized services and assistance during their pilgrimage.
Authorities acknowledged that the mission played a crucial role in facilitating smooth operations and meeting pilgrims’ needs, contributing to a triumphant Hajj season for Oman.
