The Salalah Eye, heralded as Oman’s tallest observation wheel, officially opened its doors in the Dhofar Governorate, marking a significant addition to Salalah’s expanding tourism landscape.

Launching during the Khareef season, which spans from June 21 to September 21, this period sees an influx of tourists seeking cooler temperatures and the breathtaking scenery of waterfalls and lush greenery.

With the introduction of Salalah Eye, visitors gain a new perspective of Dhofar, supplementing the region’s rich natural and cultural points of interest.

Boosting Tourism in Salalah

This observation wheel is poised to enhance Dhofar’s tourism portfolio, reinforcing its status as a compelling year-round travel destination.

Salalah has long attracted significant numbers during the Khareef season, and with the Salalah Eye, tourists now have yet another option for entertainment and exploration alongside the area’s pristine beaches, majestic mountains, and valleys.

Moreover, the wheel introduces a contemporary landmark that enriches the tourism narrative in Salalah.

Ticket Pricing for Salalah Eye

Guests can select from various ticket packages; the standard fare is RO 7, while a family cabin accommodating up to six people is available for RO 28.

An early booking option can be leveraged for just RO 6, offering a 15% discount compared to the regular rate.

This diverse pricing structure caters to both individual visitors and families seeking to discover the attraction.

Purchasing Tickets for Salalah Eye

Tickets are obtainable via the official Salalah Eye booking platform or directly at the site.

Various payment options are accepted, including:

  • Mastercard
  • Apple Pay
  • Mada
  • Tabby
  • Tamara

A nominal service fee of RO 0.300 applies to all ticket purchases.

Khareef Season Exclusive Discounts

Special discount rates will be available during specific afternoon hours, from 2 pm to 4 pm, throughout the Khareef season.
