Pakistan Says No Military Response Is Being Discussed
Pakistan has ruled out any immediate discussion of military action under the Mecca defence agreement following Houthi attacks on Saudi Arabia. Islamabad said on Thursday that no military response is currently under consideration, while stressing that Pakistan would fulfil its obligations under the agreement if the situation requires it.
Mecca Pact Links Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Türkiye
The issue has gained international attention because of the joint defence agreement signed last month by Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Türkiye. Under the pact, an armed attack against any one of the three countries is to be treated as an attack against all three members, raising questions about how Islamabad could respond if attacks on Saudi territory continue.

Pakistan Foreign Ministry spokesperson Sajjad Haider Khan addressed the issue during a weekly media briefing.
