FIA Finalizes Preparations for 2026 Monaco Grand Prix

The International Automobile Federation (FIA) has declared that all arrangements are finalized for the FIA Formula 1 Louis Vuitton Grand Prix de Monaco, which is slated for Sunday in Monte Carlo.

This race will be the inaugural European event of the 2026 Formula One World Championship season, underlining the significance of this historically-rich race as F1 welcomes a new regulatory phase.

FIA President Mohammed Ben Sulayem emphasized the Monaco Grand Prix’s stature as one of the elite gatherings in global motorsport. He articulated that the race embodies heritage, excellence, precision, and zeal, consistently captivating motorsport enthusiasts globally.

He highlighted that the 2026 season heralds a pivotal new phase for Formula 1, emphasizing Monaco’s role as a potent emblem of the sport’s uniqueness. Ben Sulayem pointed to the contributions of elite drivers, innovative engineering, committed teams, and the tireless efforts of officials, volunteers, and organizers in ensuring a successful race weekend.

The FIA President acknowledged the dedication of all parties involved in facilitating the event, including FIA officials, local organizers, marshals, volunteers, teams, and commercial associates, stating that the success of every Formula 1 race hinges on their unwavering commitment.

As Formula 1 broadens its global footprint, the FIA is devoted to upholding high standards of competition while advocating for safety, sustainability, and the enduring growth of motorsport across all levels.

The Monaco Grand Prix is globally recognized as one of the most celebrated races in the Formula One series, anticipated to draw considerable international attention as the championship propels its 2026 season.
