Prince Andrew Seen in Car After Arrest in Probe

Post by : Bianca Haleem

Prince Andrew, the younger brother of King Charles III, was arrested and questioned by police in Norfolk, England, in connection with an investigation linked to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

After several hours of questioning at Aylsham police station, Prince Andrew was released from custody. He was later seen sitting in the back seat of a car as it left the police station. A photograph captured him appearing serious and looking straight ahead while the vehicle drove away.

The questioning was carried out by officers from Thames Valley Police. According to Assistant Chief Constable Oliver Wright, the investigation relates to suspected misconduct in public office. Officials clarified that the current probe is not related to any sexual misconduct allegations.

Prince Andrew, the second son of the late Queen Elizabeth II, has denied any wrongdoing connected to Epstein and has previously expressed regret over his past association with him.

The investigation comes after the release of several documents by US authorities related to Epstein’s case. Police confirmed that inquiries are ongoing, and no further details have been shared at this stage.

The image of Prince Andrew inside the car has drawn widespread attention, as it marks a rare moment involving a senior member of the British royal family being questioned by police.
