Qatar and China Engage in Dialogue Over Afghanistan Stability

The Minister of State for Foreign Affairs in Qatar, Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al Khulaifi, engaged in discussions with China’s Special Envoy for Afghanistan, Yue Xiaoyong, during his visit.

Their conversation revolved around the current situation in Afghanistan, aiming to enhance collective international efforts focused on fostering security, peace, and stability in the region.

Both parties underscored the necessity of ongoing cooperation and dialogue to nurture stability in Afghanistan and effectively tackle regional challenges through peaceful approaches.

Dr. Al Khulaifi reiterated Qatar’s unwavering support for initiatives that seek to address conflicts via diplomacy and peaceful resolutions, emphasizing the nation's dedication to backing regional and global efforts that promote peace and stability.
