In a strong response, Qatar has condemned the recent Iranian missile and drone strikes targeting civilian areas in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), causing injuries to three Indian citizens.
In an official declaration from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, released on Monday, Qatar labeled the actions a blatant violation of UAE’s sovereignty and acknowledged the significant threat they pose to the security and stability of the region.
Qatar reiterated its unwavering support and solidarity with the UAE, endorsing all defensive measures initiated by the UAE to safeguard its sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity.
The statement expressed deep concern regarding the attack on civilian infrastructure and reinforced the vital need for peace within the region.
Furthermore, Qatar extended its hopeful wishes for a rapid recovery for those affected, particularly the injured Indian nationals.
