Post by : Bianca Haleem

The State of Qatar has vehemently denounced the drone strikes targeting two northern border posts in Kuwait, which originated from Iraq.

In an official statement disseminated by Qatar News Agency (QNA), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs labeled the strike as a blatant violation of Kuwait’s sovereignty and a grave threat to regional security and stability.

Qatar highlighted the need for Iraq to bear full responsibility in preventing such occurrences and to mitigate any potential escalation in the area.

The Ministry reiterated Qatar's unwavering support for Kuwait, pledging solidarity and backing any measures taken to safeguard their sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity.
