Qatar’s Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al Khulaifi, held a phone call on Wednesday with Guatemala’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Carlos Ramiro Martinez Alvarado.
During the conversation, the two officials reviewed relations between Qatar and Guatemala and discussed ways to support and further strengthen bilateral ties. The talks highlighted continued diplomatic engagement between the two countries.
The ministers also discussed the latest developments in Latin America. Their conversation included several issues of mutual interest, reflecting the two countries’ broader engagement on international and regional affairs.
During the call, Al Khulaifi emphasized the importance of supporting international diplomatic efforts aimed at establishing security and stability in Latin America. Qatar said diplomatic initiatives remain important in addressing regional challenges and promoting peaceful solutions.
The discussions come as countries continue to monitor political and security developments across Latin America. Qatar’s position, as outlined during the call, places emphasis on international cooperation and diplomatic engagement to support stability.
