Qatar and Italy Engage on Ceasefire and Regional Dynamics

ROME: On Sunday, Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al Khulaifi, Qatar’s Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, met with Fabrizio Saggio, the Diplomatic Advisor to the Prime Minister of Italy.

The discussions centered on examining the current status of bilateral relations and identifying avenues to bolster cooperation between Qatar and Italy across multiple sectors. A significant part of the dialogue was dedicated to analyzing pivotal regional issues, particularly the ongoing ceasefire efforts between the United States and Iran, alongside initiatives focused on mitigating tensions and enhancing regional security.

Dr. Al Khulaifi underscored the robust strategic partnership between the two nations, reiterating Qatar's dedication to expanding cooperative efforts and fostering stronger ties in various domains.

This meeting is timely, coinciding with ongoing international campaigns aimed at fostering stability and encouraging diplomatic conversations in the Middle East.
