Eid Al Adha Healthcare Timings Announced by Qatar MoPH

The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) in Qatar has unveiled the operational hours and arrangements for healthcare services during the Eid Al Adha holiday period.

Emergency and inpatient services at Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) hospitals will be available 24/7 throughout the holiday. Ambulance and Paediatric Emergency Centers will also function round the clock.

Blood donations will be accepted at the Qatar National Blood Donation Center on Tuesdays and Saturdays from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm.

As per the MoPH, 21 health centers under the Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC) will operate during the Eid holiday, with 15 providing 24/7 urgent care, including ten specifically for children.

Healthcare institutions have been instructed to publish comprehensive service schedules for the Eid Al Adha holiday.

The MoPH has detailed department hours, noting that the Medical Relations and Treatment Abroad Department will assist visitors from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, excluding the first day of Eid and Fridays and Saturdays.

The Newborn Registration Office located at the Women’s Wellness and Research Center will be operational from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm, excluding the first day of Eid and Fridays and Saturdays.

Additionally, the Death Registration Unit at the Unified Humanitarian Services Office will continue accepting visitors daily from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm during the Eid holiday.

The Unified Healthcare Sector Contact Center (16000) will be accessible 24/7 throughout the holiday period.
