Qatari Pilgrims Begin Their Journey to Hajj 2026 in Saudi Arabia

Post by : Bianca Haleem

The journey for Hajj 2026 has officially commenced as the first groups of Qatari pilgrims touch down in Saudi Arabia, embarking on this spiritual pilgrimage.

Initial flights from Hamad International Airport flew in on Thursday, utilizing Qatar Airways and Saudia services. Pilgrims via 18 authorized Hajj campaigns will continue arriving at Jeddah airports until Sunday, 7 Dhu Al Hijjah.

The Qatari Hajj Affairs Department has indicated that significant preparations have been made in cooperation with Saudi officials to facilitate smooth travel and arrival processes for all attendees.

Efforts include optimized airport services, efficient immigration checks, and pre-organized baggage handling to enhance the pilgrim experience. Special teams from the Qatari Hajj mission are stationed at Saudi airports around the clock to assist new arrivals and manage transportation to their lodging in Makkah.

Moreover, officials have highlighted that the teams are overseeing direct luggage delivery to hotels, minimizing challenges for pilgrims and ensuring a pleasant start to their Hajj experience.

The collaborative efforts between Qatar and Saudi Arabia aim to provide an organized and safe environment for pilgrims during this significant worldwide religious event.
