Qatar's Labor Minister Engages with Global Peers at ILO Gathering

In a significant move, Qatar's Minister of Labor, HE Dr. Ali bin Samikh Al Marri, conducted a series of essential meetings with labor ministers from various nations during the 114th International Labor Conference hosted by the International Labour Organization (ILO) in Geneva, Switzerland.

Among those he met were HE Dr. Mohammad Haidar from Lebanon, HE Mutasim Ahmed Saleh Adam representing Sudan, HE Hind Kabawat from Syria, HE Monica Recalde de Giacomi of Paraguay, and HE Tseliso Seth Levalo Mokhosi from Lesotho.

These discussions aimed to reinforce bilateral ties in labor sectors and to explore avenues for enhancing partnerships between Qatar and these nations. Key topics included the advancement of labor policies, workforce development initiatives, and collaborative employment strategies.

The meetings unfolded during the 114th International Labor Conference, a prominent event gathering labor officials, employers, and workers' representatives from across the globe to deliberate on significant employment challenges.

Qatar's active involvement in this conference underscores its dedication to fostering international partnerships and sharing expertise in labor and employment issues.
