The Royal Air Force of Oman (RAFO) carried out a medical evacuation on Wednesday for an Indian national who was aboard a passing commercial ship.
The evacuation was launched after the individual suffered a medical emergency and required urgent transfer by air for medical treatment.
As part of the operation, the Indian national was evacuated from the commercial vessel by helicopter. Following the air transfer, he was taken to Duqm Hospital in Al Wusta Governorate.
The individual was transported to Duqm Hospital to receive the necessary medical care after the emergency. The operation enabled his transfer from the commercial ship to a medical facility for treatment.
