A heartwarming moment involving actors Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda has gone viral on social media after the duo attended a scholarship event in Telangana. The event was organized to support meritorious students from Achampet Mandal and attracted significant public attention.
During the gathering, Rashmika was seen helping Vijay Deverakonda amid the crowd. In a video widely shared online, she wiped sweat from his forehead and adjusted his moustache while interacting with people at the venue. The candid moment quickly gained attention among fans.
The scholarship initiative was launched earlier this year by Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna. The programme aims to reward hardworking students studying in Classes 9 and 10 from different schools across Achampet Mandal.
Vijay later shared photographs from the visit on social media. The pictures featured Rashmika Mandanna alongside his parents and students who benefited from the scholarship programme. He said the first year of the initiative had successfully supported 180 students from 45 schools.
The actor also expressed his commitment to expanding the programme in the coming years. According to Vijay, the initiative will continue in 2027 with efforts to include more students and schools under the scholarship scheme.
Before arriving at the village, Vijay shared details of the selected students on social media and described the programme as a dream project close to his heart. He noted that the village holds emotional significance because it is the birthplace of his father.
Apart from their philanthropic efforts, Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna are also preparing for their upcoming film Ranabaali. The project marks another collaboration between the popular pair after the success of Geetha Govindam and Dear Comrade, generating excitement among movie fans.
