Rimi Sen Transitions to Dubai’s Real Estate Scene

Post by : Bianca Haleem

Rimi Sen, renowned for her roles in films like Hungama, Dhoom, and Golmaal, has made a notable shift from Bollywood to a thriving real estate career in Dubai.

After taking a step back from her acting career post-2011’s Shagird, Rimi recently shared insights into her new path during a conversation with Buildcaps Real Estate LLC. She emphasized Dubai's welcoming nature, stating, “95% of the population here consists of expatriates, and the city is dedicated to enhancing the comfort and convenience of its residents.”

Contrasting real estate practices in India and Dubai, she observed, “The market operates efficiently here due to a disciplined framework. Developers and agencies adhere to established systems, simplifying business operations. In India, inconsistent policies and excessive taxation complicate matters.”

Rimi expressed her views on the treatment of real estate agents in Dubai, where they are regarded as financial consultants, unlike in India, where the standard brokerage practice can be met with disdain.

Regarding her appearance and social media comments, Rimi clarified her use of fillers, Botox, and PRP treatments, saying, “With these treatments and personal discipline, individuals can maintain a good appearance. If anyone feels concerned, they can make suggestions directly to my healthcare providers.”

Rimi Sen’s successful adaptation from the Bollywood industry to Dubai’s real estate realm showcases her resilience and ability to excel in varied fields, underscoring her radiant presence both in films and in her new endeavors.
