Kazakh cyclist Rinata Sultanova delivered an impressive performance to win the second and final stage of the Grand Prix Fergana Ladies.
Riding for the Kazakhstan National Team, the UAE Team ADQ rider showed strong determination after finishing fourth in the opening stage. She launched a powerful attack during the 91-kilometre race in Fergana and completed a solo finish.
Sultanova crossed the finish line 29 seconds ahead of her closest competitors. China’s Haixin Dong (XDS China Women Team) secured second place, while Indonesia’s Ayustina Delia Priatna and Uzbekistan’s Yanina Kuskova (Queen Sport) followed behind.
With consistent results across both stages, Sultanova finished second overall in the competition. She ended the race 1 minute and 7 seconds behind China’s Hao Zhang, who claimed the overall title.
Already an Asian individual time trial champion, Sultanova continues to prove her consistency and strength in the Asian cycling circuit with this performance.
