The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia has strongly condemned the recent acts of rioting, assault, and attempted vandalism targeting the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in Damascus, Syria. The attacks also extended to the residence of the UAE’s head of mission, along with offensive actions directed at the country’s national symbols.

In an official statement reported by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the Kingdom expressed firm denunciation of these unacceptable acts, emphasizing that such behavior violates diplomatic norms and international standards.

Saudi Arabia reaffirmed its categorical rejection of all forms of violence against diplomats and diplomatic premises. The ministry highlighted the critical importance of ensuring the safety and security of diplomatic missions, in accordance with established international laws and conventions.

The Kingdom further called for strict adherence to global diplomatic protections, underscoring that safeguarding embassies and their personnel is essential for maintaining international relations and stability.
