Riyadh Police Arrest Driver After Stolen Car Crash

Riyadh police have arrested a driver accused of reckless drifting in a stolen vehicle, hitting a pedestrian and fleeing the scene after the incident.

The arrest was carried out by Riyadh police in coordination with the General Traffic Department following the reported incident. Authorities said the suspect was stopped after the alleged offences and taken into custody.

Driver Accused of Multiple Violations

According to authorities, the case involves several alleged violations, including reckless driving, using a stolen vehicle, hitting a pedestrian and leaving the scene of an accident.

Police said the suspect was stopped following the incident and taken into custody as legal procedures were initiated.

Case Referred to Public Prosecution

Following the arrest, Riyadh police completed the required legal procedures and referred the case to the Public Prosecution for further investigation and legal action.

Authorities continue to take action against dangerous driving and other violations that could threaten the safety of road users.

The authorities have not provided further details about the condition of the pedestrian or the identity of the suspect.
