Saudi Ambassador to Sweden and Iceland Aseel Al-Shehail held a diplomatic meeting with Sinisa Grgic, Croatia’s ambassador to Sweden and dean of the diplomatic corps, during a recent visit in Stockholm.
The meeting focused on matters of mutual interest between the diplomats. Al-Shehail described the discussion as a constructive exchange of views, highlighting the importance of continued diplomatic communication and engagement.
Following the meeting, Al-Shehail said in a statement on X that the two sides had a constructive exchange of views on issues of mutual interest. She also expressed appreciation for Grgic’s kind welcome and good wishes.
The meeting reflects continued engagement among diplomatic representatives in Sweden. As dean of the diplomatic corps, Grgic holds a prominent role among ambassadors accredited to Sweden, making the meeting relevant to the broader diplomatic community in Stockholm.
Separately, Saudi officials also held diplomatic engagements elsewhere in the Kingdom. Al-Ahsa Gov. Prince Saud bin Talal bin Badr received US Consul General in Dhahran James Sindle on Monday on the occasion of the end of Sindle’s tenure, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
